CEO Mr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Suwailem

Ahmed bin Ali Al-Suwailem was appointed as CEO of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector in January 2022. He has over 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors, with a specialization in economics, trade, finance, and banking.
Prior to his current position, Al-Suwailem held several prominent roles. He served as the CEO of the National Anti-Commercial Concealment Program at the Saudi Ministry of Commerce, an Advisor to the Saudi Minister of Commerce, and Secretary General of the Riyadh Chamber. His financial expertise was cultivated through executive roles at Saudi Investment Bank as the head of MIS in Financial Planning and Control, and he also served as the Executive Vice President of Financial Control at Gulf International Bank.
Al-Suwailem actively contributes to various boards and committees. He serves as Managing Director and Board Member at the Riyadh International Exhibition Center and holds a board position at the General Authority for Awqaf and the Associations Support Fund. His commitment extends to being a trustee of the Riyadh Economic Forum and a member of the Executive Committee for Remuneration and Compensation at the Riyadh Chamber.
Acadmically, Al-Suwailem holds a master's degree in finance from George Washington University in the United States and a bachelor's degree in accounting from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia. He is certified as a Management Accountant (CMA) accredited by the American Institute of Management Accountants and licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA). Additionally, he holds a certification in International Financial Reporting Standards (CertIFRS) and accreditation in exhibition and conference management (CEM) from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).
