New “Non-Profit Sector Issues” Category Introduced in 2025 Social Research Award

In partnership with the National Center for Social Studies and Research (NCSS), the National Center for Non-profit Sector (NCNP) has introduced a new category called “Non-Profit Sector Issues” as part of the Social Research Award (SRA).
The new category reflects the NCNP’s commitment to promoting research, studies, data collection, and the dissemination of knowledge related to the nonprofit sector.
It aims to give researchers specializing in nonprofit sector studies the opportunity to participate in the award under its established criteria and guidelines.
This collaboration aims to reinforce the sector’s crucial role by highlighting key issues related to its development and growth, while supporting researchers in advancing scientific knowledge in priority areas.
The award will focus on several key topics within the nonprofit sector, including social innovation, capacity building, volunteering, and social entrepreneurship (social investment). It should be noted that registration for the award is currently open to researchers, with the deadline for submissions set for February 15, 2025.
