National Center for Non-Profit Sector Holds its 13th Board Meeting

The Board of Directors of the National Center for the Non-Profit Sector (NCNP) held its 13th meeting, chaired by His Excellency Eng. Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the Board.
His Excellency began the session by expressing his gratitude to the Kingdom’s leadership for their continuous support of the non-profit sector. He also welcomed the royal approval for the reappointment of the NCNP Board of Directors for a second three-year term. Al Rajhi extended his congratulations to both the reappointed and newly appointed board members, wishing them success in steering the NCNP toward achieving its strategic objectives and advancing the non-profit sector in alignment with national aspirations.
The meeting, which brought together members of the second board term, covered several key topics, including the NCNP's 2024 Annual Report, the 2025 operational plan, the strategic performance, performance measurement standards for charitable support organizations, and the performance of the Associations Support Fund.
In recognition of the NCNP’s significant progress across its performance indicators, His Excellency reviewed the 2024 performance metrics and notable accomplishments, highlighting the rapid growth of the non-profit sector. He also commended the unwavering support of the Kingdom’s leadership, demonstrated through several major initiatives, most notably, the royal approval of the fifth edition of the National Charity Campaign and the generous royal donations it received, which raised one billion Riyals in donations. Additionally, the launch of the Jood Eskan (Housing Generosity) campaign secured another substantial contribution from the leadership, bringing the total donations and agreements from these initiatives to approximately one billion Saudi Riyals.
The Board of Directors serves as the highest authority of the NCNP, responsible for overseeing its operations and managing its affairs. It holds the authority to make all resolutions necessary to achieve the NCNP objectives within the framework of its regulations. Additionally, the board carries out various duties as outlined in the organizational framework approved by the Council of Ministers.
