“IENA 25” Exhibition Sees 142 Agreements Signed, Showcases Gulf Experiences

The International Exhibition for the Development of the Nonprofit Sector, “IENA 25,” saw 142 agreements signed between public and private entities during its first two days. These agreements aim to advance social responsibility, develop the nonprofit sector, and boost its contribution to GDP in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
On the second day, the exhibition’s sessions highlighted key Gulf experiences in strengthening partnerships between the nonprofit sector and other sectors, focusing on institutional frameworks, enabling models, and digital empowerment.
The discussions also covered various developmental and enabling practices that support villages and rural areas across the Kingdom, with participation from representatives of several national institutions.
Participants reviewed notable success stories from Saudi Arabia’s nonprofit sector, as well as current challenges and global experiences in this vital field.
The sessions also delved into models, frameworks, policies, and legislation aimed at sustaining social responsibility and promoting the growth of the nonprofit sector.
Currently underway in Riyadh from May 18 to 20, IENA 25, now in its third edition, serves as a focal point that brings together nonprofit organizations, government bodies, private sector players, and international institutions to foster collaboration, share expertise, and develop innovative solutions that strengthen the sector’s role in sustainable development
